Description:
Begins as a ballad, double times to a jazz waltz, and settles into a jazz samba. Features tenor or optional solo flute on very difficult chord changes. Flute doubles in Alto 1 & 2, and Tenor 2. Flugels in all trumpets. Lots of nice counterpoint and a powerful shout chorus subside into the short ballad ending. Lead trumpet to written Eb. optional flute solo. As recorded by the John Mahoney Big Band on 'If From Somewhere'.
