Description:
This a slow, bluesy feature, with a solo for the 2nd alto sax. It is in an arch form; i.e. A-B-C-B-A, with the solo in the middle section. Has a nice piano-guitar George Shearing-style background section. Requires a solid bass trombone player, and a drummer that knows how to kick the brass, ala the Kenton style. Lead trumpet up to high E. No doubles.
