First composer contact with the carillon came in March 2022, in the tower of the Main Town Hall in Gdańsk. The instrument’s unusual location, as well as the remarkable space through which its music resounds, aroused composer imagination in such a way as to trigger visions or hallucinations in sound, which in turn inspired the work presented here.
